Encouraging sale of turmeric

Traders purchased turmeric in good quantities on Thursday. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,869-7,189 a quintal, and the root variety at ₹5,700- 7,009 a quintal. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric sold at ₹5,800-7,371 a quintal, and the root variety at ₹5,655-6,689 a quintal.
