Baring groundnut and cotton oils, the majority of oils either ruled stable or traded low on slack physical demand with soy refined quoted at ₹745-48 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at ₹710-715. Palm oil declined to ₹642, while cotton oil (Gujarat) ruled at ₹710-15 for 10 kg. Groundnut oil, on the other hand, continued to traded higher at ₹1,050-70 for 10 kg (up ₹40 from last week) with demand outstripping availability. Plant deliveries of mustard seeds for Jaipur line quoted higher at ₹3,900-3,905 a quintal. In futures also mustard seeds traded higher with its May and June contracts on the NCDEX today closing at ₹3,812 (up ₹12) and ₹3,653 (up ₹10) a quintal respectively.
