HYDERABAD: A 46-year-old woman, who sold cold drinks to earn her livelihood, was found murdered at her residence in Mannevari Turkapally village in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on Wednesday night.
The unidentified assailants slit her throat and allegedly took away her gold and silver ornaments, said police.
“The victim was staying alone after her husband died in 2007,” said Venkaiah, sub-inspector of Mannevari Turkapally.

Neighbours felt something was amiss as Anuradha did not step on the entire day on Wednesday. When one of them checked through the window, he found her in a pool of blood in the hall and alerted cops on Wednesday night.
Four special teams have been formed to look out for the killers. The body was shifted to Bhongir Government Hospital and a murder case was registered.
