BHOPAL: The election campaign is heating up as the polling dates are approaching close. BJP has accused the Congress of using government machinery in removing posters and banners of Amit Shah’s rally. Congress on other hand has complained about property defacement by the BJP. Several BJP workers gathered near bus stand when they came to know that a vehicle of district administration was removing posters and banners which were places to welcome BJP national president Amit Shah. However, the vehicle left when workers gathered there and protested.
Meanwhile Congress filed a written complaint with election commission accusing BJP of property defacement. The complaint said that BJP banners and flags were installed at private buildings at several places without seeking appropriate permission. Posters of Modi and Shah have been put up at electric poles without permission therefore a case of poll code violation should be registered against BJP candidate Pragya Thakur.
