Kolkata: Presi stir over 'molestation'

KOLKATA: A section of students from Presidency University staged a demonstration and gheraoed the dean of students and registrar on Wednesday demanding immediate action to be taken against a student who has been allegedly involved in "molesting" two girls studying in the same university.
The gherao, which started from 5pm, was lifted at 9:30pm only after registrar Debajyoti Konar assured to enhance security inside the campus.
Both the girls who had lodged a complaint with the university itself however are yet to lodge a police complaint, said sources.
