Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Did Disha Vakani just drop hint that she's returning as Dayaben?

Ever since Disha Vakani aka Dayaben left the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the dedicated audience has been asking if the popular TV actress will reprise her role anytime sooner. There have been several reports around Disha Vakani's return to TMKOC and so far, none of them have been confirmed. Disha Vakani welcomed her first child last year for which she took a maternity leave. When she didn't return for a long time, the makers decided to take someone else in place of Disha to play Dayaben in the popular show.

Now, the rumours have been doing rounds that Disha Vakani might return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Dayaben. The rumours started floating on the internet ever since Disha Vakani shared a throwback picture with Neha Mehta, who plays Anjali in TMKOC. The picture is an old one, this is for sure. But it has sparked speculations that Disha might be hinting towards her possible return on the show.

So far, nothing has been confirmed on Disha Vakani or Asit Modi's part about Dayaben's character. The actress tied the knot to Mayur Pandya in 2015 and welcomed her baby girl last year. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running without Dayaben's character.

A week ago, it was being said that TV actress Ami Trivedi will replace Disha Vakani as Dayaben. Though, the actress denied being even approached for the role.
