Price range

“We realise that India is a price-sensitive market and by launching new models, we will definitely capitalise more market presence,” he added. The elevators will be in the range of ₹10- 20 lakh. , The company has partnered with Chennai-based Elite Elevators for greater market presence. On Wednesday, it launched its Home Elevator Experience Centre in India.

Warbrick said for a price-sensitive market like India Thyssenkrupp elevators require no pit, no headroom or machine room but run on single phase power supply. “With this, we hope to make headway through our partner, Elite elevators.”

Market outlook

On the outlook for the home elevator market in India, he said, “India is still at a nascent stage in terms of home elevator market size. There is immense potential in the market to grow. We personally have seen growth of almost 50 per cent in our number of orders on yearly basis.”
