4 arrested for attempt to murder

Mangaluru: City police have arrested four people in connection with an attempt to murder case.
According to police, the accused had assaulted Mahendra Shetty and Surag with bottles and knife at Ashirvad Hall in Bolar on May 6. A case was registered with Mangaluru South police station.
Police arrested Jnanesh Nayak, 20, a resident of Bolar, Rahul Tingalaya alias Kakke, 25, a resident of Hoige Bazar from the Service Bus Stand on Wednesday, and Nithesh, 25, and Charan, 32, residents of Hoige Bazar were arrested from Nandigudde bus stand. Police have recovered the knife and bottles used for the crime. It is suspected to be an act of revenge.
