Swara Bhasker shared a photo with Atishi from the roadshow in New Delhi. Swara Bhasker on Wednesday campaigned for Atishi Marlena who is Aam Admi Party’s East Delhi candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. The Bollywood actor joined Atishi during her roadshow in New Delhi.
Swara shared on Twitter, “You have inspired us Atishi with your stellar work in transforming govt. schools in Delhi! You are the real star! :) Hope we get to hear ur voice ring loud and true in the #Parliament . P.s. thanks for letting me steal your Nariyal paani! 🙈🙈❣️❣️”
Swara Bhasker also posted a few photos from the rally. While talking to the media, the actor said she is actively participating in the democratic processes of the country as the artiste community has suffered a lot in the past five years.

Swara has earlier campaigned for CPM’s Begusarai candidate Kanhaiya Kumar, Congress candidate for Bhopal Digvijaya Singh and Amra Ram, CPI (M) candidate from Rajasthan’s Sikar.
Recently, Swara Bhasker, who has been a vocal critic of the ruling party, was told by a man who asked for a selfie at the airport, “Aayega toh Modi hi”. As the selfie video went viral on social media and people went on a trolling spree, Swara gave a fitting reply. She tweeted, “A guy asks for a selfie @ airport; I oblige ‘coz I don’t discriminate people who want selfies based on their politics. He sneakily shoots a video. Tacky & underhand tactics r trademarks of bhakts. I’m unsurprised. But always glad 2 make bhakts feel like their lives are worthwhile.”

On the work front, Swara has turned producer for forthcoming film Kahaaniwaaley. The actor has joined hands with her brother Ishan Bhasker to launch her production house.
