Cusat CAT results out

Amir Ahmed Imitas of Thiruvananthapuram won the first rank in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2019) for B.Tech. programmes offered by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat).

Sam Mathew Betson and Goutham S. of Kozhikode secured the second and third ranks respectively. S. Kalyan of Thiruvananthapuram bagged the fourth rank, according to an official release.

In the Scheduled Castes category, Vishnu V Saseendran of Thrissur secured first rank. Nandu V. of Ernakulam won the first rank in the Scheduled Tribes category. The intake for the 11 B.Tech. branches on the main campus at Thrikkakara is 726, while the corresponding figure on its Kuttanad campus is 270 (five branches).

Vice Chancellor K.N. Madhusoodanan said the option registration for B.Tech. courses would start on May 15. For PG course, the option registration will begin on May 10. Classes are scheduled to start on July 1. Results and schedule of admission is available on the website ‘admissions.cusat.ac.in’.
