Jon Olsson is no stranger to creating wild exotics and has just unveiled his latest ride, an extensively-modified Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4².

Olsson has owned this car, lovingly known as ‘Lord Hans’, for quite some time and it has already been through a number of different configurations. Last year, he chopped the roof off the wild G-Class so it could be parked in the tiny underground carparks scattered across the principality of Monaco. Now, the SUV has been overhauled once again.

While the G500 4×4² looked pretty cool without any kind of roof, it wasn’t exactly practical. Hence, Olsson decided to send the car to a tuning house for some more mods, including the fitment of a bespoke fabric roof so it can be driven in less-than-ideal conditions.

Numerous other alterations were also made. For example, the car has been re-painted white to match Olsson’s personal clothing brand. A host of small accents have also been finished in white, including the springs.

Then there’s the powertrain: the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 powering the G500 4×4² typically delivers 416 hp, but a plethora of upgrades have boosted that figure to a massive 850 horses. An aftermarket exhaust system ensures the car is also much louder than virtually any other G-Wagon.

As crazy as this G500 4×4² is, we still think the G 650 Landaulet from Mercedes-Maybach is the most ridiculous interpretation of the G-Class ever. Olsson’s custom example is probably a very close second, though.
