Woman and daughter-in-law found murdered

A woman Sabiha Begum and her daughter-in-law Tayyab Begum were found murdered in Mailardevpally limits. The accused was yet to be identified.

According to Mailardevpally inspector K. Sathaiah Goud, Moin Khan and Tayyab got married around two months ago. While Moin is from Tandur, Vikarabad district, Tayyab was from Banswada, Kamareddy district. They shifted to Roshan Nagar, Mailardevpally, after getting married.

Moin, who works at an electrical shop in Troop Bazaar, left for work on Monday morning. He called Tayyab after work but she did not return the call. He reached home around 11.45 p.m. and found his mother and wife in a pool of blood.

Police said that the two women might have been killed early on Monday evening. Both the women were found with head injuries. Their bodies were sent to OGH for post-mortem. Moin too was questioned.

Police have deployed Clues team and dog squad and are going through CCTV footage to trace the assailants. Cases under IPC sections 302 (Punishment for murder) and 380 (Theft in home) were registered.
