Failed at first attempt, 2 rob man of car at gunpoint

Gurgaon: Two bike-borne assailants tried to rob a man of his Fortuner car at gunpoint near Manesar bus stand, but as they couldn’t drive away his SUV they left it there and fled with his iPhone.
After reaching Pataudi, the two accused robbed another man of his Hyundai Verna car and escaped, leaving their bike on the spot.
Two separate FIRs have been registered at Manesar police station on Monday.
In the first case, the complainant, identified as Sahil Sachdeva who is a Malibu town resident, claimed that he was near Manesar bus stand around 1 am on Monday when the two men came on an Apache bike and overtook his car. They intercepted him and held him at gunpoint.
“They tried to flee with my car and iPhone, but couldn’t drive my car ahead. They then fled with my iPhone,” Sachdeva alleged in his complaint.

In the other case, a complaint was filed by Narain Singh, a resident of Chitrasen ki Dhani near Pataudi, stating that in the early hours on Monday, two youths on an Apache bike stopped him at gunpoint and fled with his Verna.
Two separate FIRs have been registered under Section 392 (robbery) of the IPC and Section 25-54-59 of the Arms Act at Manesar police station. “We have recovered Sahil’s iPhone abandoned near NSG camp in Manesar. The bike, which was being used by the two accused , was also stolen from Bahadurgarh. A probe is on. They will be arrested soon,” said police spokesperson Subhash Boken.
