Not Malaika Arora or Kareena Kapoor Khan, but Salman Khan will have special song in Dabangg 3!
After Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan's divorce, the relationship betwee Malaika and her former brother-in-law Salman Khan have gone sour. It was being reported that the Chaiya Chaiya girl won't be having a special number in Dabangg 3, breaking the ritual. Instead, a recent report suggests that Salman Khan himself will do a special number for the film and it will be titled Munna Badnaam, on contrary to Munni Badnaam which had Malaika Arora as the lead. In the second part, Kareena Kapoor Khan stepped into her shoes in Fevicol Se, but this time there won't be an actress to flaunt her dancing prowess.
According to India Today, the popular Munni Badnaam song will be revamped into a Munna Badnaam song. Salman Khan will be the focus of the song. The source said, "Malaika Arora’s foot-tapping item number Munni Badnam Hui will be re-created and will feature Salman. This time, it will be presented to the audiences with a different twist."
It added, "The lyrics will undergo a drastic change too. And Salman has decided to wear the overcoat of this Badnami himself and the song will be called Munna Badnaam Hua."
Salman Khan began filming for Dabangg 3 in April this year in Madhya Pradesh. He shot for the special song on the ghats of Narmada, a video of which leaked on social media. Currently, the team is shooting in Mumbai. Sudeep, who played antagonist in Makkhi, will be playing the villain in Dabangg 3.
Directed by Prabhudeva, Dabangg 3 will release on December 20, 2019 this year.
