Pak captures 22 fishermen aboard four Indian boats

Rajkot: Pakistan Maritime Security Agency captured four fishing boats belonging to Porbandar from the Indo-Pak international maritime border, off Jakhau coast in Kutch district on Tuesday night.

“There were 22 fishermen on board the captured boats. In the past two days, 10 boats with 56 fishermen on board have been captured by the Pakistani authorities,” said Manish Lodhari, former president of Porbandar Fishermen’s Association.
“Last month, the Pakistani government released 300 Indian fishermen. However, more than 200 Indian fishermen are still languishing in Pakistani jails,” added Lodhari. tnn
