The Council Of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) on Wednesday declared the Class 12 examinations results 2019 of students of science, arts and commerce stream.

Altogether 28,649 students appeared in the Higher Secondary examinations this year but 21,151 passed the examination.The overall pass percentage is 73.83%.

In the science stream, the pass percentage is 74.87 %. In the arts stream, the pass percentage is 71.59%. In the commerce stream, the pass percentage is 66.62%.

Manipur education minister Th Radheshyam Singh formally declared the examination result at the office of COHSEM in Imphal this afternoon.

Senior officials of the education department, COHSEM chairman and Manipur University teachers were also present during the announcement of the results.

Michael Atom of Meci explorer and L Linrada jointly shared the top position in the science stream, while O Berlin of Enlighten Knowledge Higher secondary school topped in the arts stream. G Roberto of Sangai higher secondary school topped commerce stream.

The Class 12 examinations were conducted from February 18 to March 20 this year. Last year, the Class 12 examination results were declared on May 3.
