GORAKHPUR: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath, addressing a joint workers meet of Bharatiya Janta Party and Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) in
Gorakhpur, instructed the workers that at least one BJP and one
HYV worker should be present at each electoral booth.
On the absence of 15 booth presidents out of total 115, CM Yogi said, “Stop working as a formality on papers and become active.” Laying emphasis on door-to-door connect he said, “Before May 10 all BJP and HYV officials should visit every house to connect with the voters. Booth is the primary unit of winning election and Prime Minister
Narendra Modi says that when worker and booth president wins his booth, election would be won.”
Sharing the strategy for polls, he said that, “Four important work should be done at booth level which include meeting at every booth, a team at each booth with active members, door-to-door connect, and resolve polling related issues. If you can make at least 70% people vote, the city may give lead of at least 1.5-2 lakhs.”
Yogi further suggested that the party workers should take selfie after creative work but with care. He said, “Wherever you do a creative work take a selfie with it. When the Election Commission imposed a ban on me from campaigning after ‘Bajrangbali’ statement, I decided to visit every Bajrangbali temple that I found.”
“Tell people about development work including AIIMS,
fertilizer plant, BRD super-specialty ward. Use smartphones and upload the development work done. We have distributed Antyodaya and family ration cards to 3 crore 55 lakh families amd it is not possible for the candidate to visit each house so each worker should consider him as a candidate and visit all the houses of his booth area.”
CM Yogi motivated party workers to encourgae people to reach the booth and vote.
