Study Shows 96% of U.S. National Parks are Suffering From Air Pollution

A new report shows that America’s national parks are not immune to pollution, of the 417 evaluated, 96 percent have significant air pollution problems.????The study conducted by the National Parks Conservation Association…????...reported that 85 percent of parks experienced at times air conditions that were unhealthy to breathe.????The report also highlighted three areas of concern…????...which said 88 percent of national parks were seeing species and habitats harmed from air pollution????The NPCA study said that 89 percent of parks were affected by haze pollution…????...meaning that scenic views were being obstructed.????According to the report, 80 percent of parks are experiencing climate change at a level of “significant concern”.????The study listed some of the nation’s most famous parks as some of its most polluted…????...including Joshua Tree...Mojave...Sequoia...and Kings Canyon... which are all in California.
