Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists offered up a new suspect on Wednesday's episode, titled "Hook, Line and Booker," when Caitlin (Sydney Park) spied her boyfriend skulking around in the woods, drilling holes in his laptop and tossing it into the river.
Actor Graeme Thomas King told TV Guide that next week fans will see just what kind of stakes Jeremy is dealing with. Plus he's heard your Wren (Julian Morris) theories and would love to make that happen. Check out what else he had to say below.
So, what exactly is Jeremy's job for the Hotchkiss family? What does he really do for them?
Graeme Thomas King: I mean, I wondered that for a long time as well [laughs]. You have to keep watching. It does become more evident as the [season] finishes. But that's a good question and I thought about it a lot. I had my theories for a long time. I still do! I still do have my theories as to what he does. Patience. Just be patient.
Shady Taylor Got Even More Suspect on The Perfectionists
He's obviously embedded with the Hotchkiss family. How did Jeremy feel about Nolan, especially since Nolan was publicly dating Jeremy's girlfriend?
King: I think he hates his guts. I mean, wouldn't you if you were in love with someone who was being blackmailed into a relationship? I think you would absolutely hate their guts. I think he made himself pretty clear, I think in the second episode when [he and Caitlin] were in the car and he said I don't feel bad that you don't have to worry about this guy anymore. That's exactly how he feels about Nolan. Obviously, that doesn't do anything for his case against [killing Nolan]. His motivation is very strong.
Do you think Jeremy really loves Caitlin or is this all a ruse as part of some bigger plan?
King: Interesting. That's a good theory. I hadn't even thought about that. He loves her dearly. I think she's everything to him. She's everything that he's ever wanted. I imagine that he's relatively new to Hotchkiss Industries and he's new to the country and Caitlin is kind of everything that he's dreamed of. He could be using her, he certainly could, but I don't like to think that way because he seems really nice. But then again, in Episode 8, he did some pretty dodgy things.
That's actually my very next question -- Episode 8 ends with Jeremy doing some pretty sketchy stuff, so what can you tease about this darker side of Jeremy we got to see this week?
King: He's obviously hiding a lot, isn't he? To do what he does in Episode 8 -- you wouldn't do that unless you were scared or you had a lot to lose. As the series goes forward, as [Episode 9] comes out, you'll see how much he actually has to lose. You'll realize how much he actually has to lose.
We haven't really seen Jeremy interacting with Taylor. Does he have a relationship with her? Do they have any kind of past?
King: [laughs] Ummm, do they have any kind of past? Not that I'm aware of. But you'll see them interact with each other in a massive way in Episode 9. I can't tell you any more because it's really good. You'll see them come together in quite a serious way.

I don't know how familiar you are with the original Pretty Little Liars series, but it has a history of mysterious British fellows being up to no good. There are already some fan theories that you're related to Wren from the original series, and he turned out to be quite the villain. Have you heard about those? And how do you react to that?
King: I love that theory, I really do. That would be a lot of fun going forward. It'd be quite ironic, wouldn't it? Two Brits acting very dodgily. It's funny because I met Julian [Morris] for the first time very randomly at a party a couple of months ago and we talked about that, about being the Brits in the show and being painted as villainous. I speak to him a little bit, we exchange messages, so I might try and make that theory a reality because I really like that one.
I love the idea that Julian's like, 'So here's how you handle the PLL fans when you're a mysterious, dodgy British guy.'
King: I know! I actually did ask him that, I asked him for advice about that. He's a really nice guy.
I know you can't tell me exactly what Jeremy's whole situation is, but I'm curious how long you've known your character's arc. Did the writers tell you from the start of the season how Jeremy fits into the mysteries?
King: No, they didn't. I knew very late. I knew in Episode 8, to be honest. Just before we started shooting that scene with me down by the river, that was when [creator I. Marlene King] told me what was going on. So yeah, very late on. But I like it like that, to be honest, because in the earlier scenes with Jeremy ... he's very sweet and endearing and very charming and I think if I had known the full arc of him earlier on, I might have shown a bit too much of where he was going to go, do you know what I mean? ... But like everyone else, I had my theories quite early on. I think after the first episode when he turns up at Nolan's crime scene, I started theorizing then.
