Maharashtra CBSE results: Pune has one 2nd ranker and three sharing third spot

Most schools in Pune had a 100% success rate.
PUNE: Suhanee Korpe, from DAV Public School in the city, scored 99.2% in the CBSE Class X exams to bag the second position in Maharashtra. The results, which were announced on Monday, revealed that three other Pune students — Korpe’s schoolmates Naman Dharmani and Isha Bhattacharya, and Indira National School’s Ishita Jinturkar — each scored 99% to take the third spot.
While Korpe shared the second position with 4 others in the state, the three third-rankers from the city shared their’s with 10 students across Maharashtra.

100% success rate
Most schools in Pune had a 100% success rate. The list includes DAV Public school that had 543 students appearing for the exam; Delhi Public School (227), Akshara International School (67); Vikhe Patil Memorial School (146); Kalyani School (31); GIIS Chinchwad (168); City Pride School, Nigdi Pradhikaran (83); Goel Ganga International School (114); RIMS Undri (17); Vatsalya School (14); Blossom Public School in Tathawade (265); Trinity International School (31); Sanskriti School, Bhukum (57); Army Public School, Dighi; Army Public School Kirkee; The Orbis School; Vidyashilp Public School (33); Pawar Public School, Nanded City (63); City International School (CIS) in Aundh (75); CIS, Satara Road (101); CIS, Wanaorie (84); City International School Kothrud (92); Air Force School, Chandannagar (69); Amanora School (97); The Lexicon International School, Kalyaninagar; The Lexicon International School, Wagholi; SNBP International School, Rahatani (89); Suryadatta National School; Jnana Prabodhini Prashala (80); Pratibha International School and Mansukhbhai Kothari Nation School (106) among others. PMC-run Rajiv Gandhi e-Learning School in Sahakarnagar also had all its 55 students pass the exam.
School toppers
While Korpe was the topper at DAV, Rishabh Goyal (98.3%) scored the higest in Delhi Public School. GIIS Chinchwad’s Anushcca Manchanda (98.2%) topped at her school as did Aayushi Barve (98.2%) at Vikhe Patil Memorial School; Spruha Sarnaik (98.2%) at Jnana Prabodhini Prashala; Vidushi Tandon (98.2%) at Sanskriti School, Bhukum; Shabbir Kaderi (98%) at Air Force School, Chandannagar; Diya Goel (98%) at SNBP International School, Rahatani; and Payal Helambe (98%) at Blossom Public School, Tathawade. Shreshtha Srivastava and Namya Dimri both secured 98% to top at Amanora School. At Nigdi Pradhikaran’s City Pride School, Saket Dhore (97.8%) topped. Saurabh Chavan (97.6%) from Army Public School, Kirkee; Jahnavi Rishikesh (97.4%) from CIS Wanaorie; Aastha Mazumdar (97.4%) from City International School Kothrud; Nayonika Sharma (97.2%) from Kalyani School; Shivam Maske (97.2%) from CIS, Aundh also topped.
At Akshara International, Kaushiki Kar Gupta (97.2%) topped, revealed principal Sonali Balwatkar. Suryaja Angadi (96.8%) topped at Mansukhbhai Kothari Nation School. Goel Ganga International School’s topper was Aditya Khanolkar (96.6%); The Orbis School’s was Kavana Anklekar (96.6%) and Asmita Dutta (96.6%) topped at The Lexicon International School. Snehal Kane and Pradyumna Paithankar were joint toppers at Pawar Public School, Nanded City, with 96.2% each. Suraj Mohite (96.2%) topped at Army Public School Dehu Road and Ritika Chatterjee (96%) at The Lexicon International School, Kalyaninagar. Sidhant Bhatt (95.8%) at Vidyashilp Public School; Saishradha Chintal (95.4%) at Trinity International; Sneha Gadgil (95.4%) at CIS, Satara Rd and Abhiruchi Jagdale (95.16%) from Pratibha International School were toppers in their schools. Sakshi Kharade (94.8%) topped at Army Public School, Dighi, while Suyash Ayachit (94.4%) did at Suryadatta National School. At RIMS Undri, Prakhar Bajpai (94.4% ) topped. Shubham Upadhya (93.4%) was topper at Vatsalya School. Rajiv Gandhi e-Learning School’s top-scorer was Srushti Chintal (87%).
Principals pleased
Goel Ganga International School’s principal Bharti Bhagwani said, “This was a fabulous beginning to their (students’) future.” Arti Sharma, of Army Public School, Kirkee, said the students have proved themselves again. Sharada Rao, vice-principal of The Orbis School, said “The outstanding results reflect teachers’ and students’ dedication.”

CV Madhavi, DAV Public School principal, said all 543 students passed. Principal of Vidyashilp Public School, Sahana Arif, also expressed happiness at the school’s 100% success. Army Public School Dehu Road said for the first time, four students with special needs cleared the exam with distinction.
Anju Luthra, principal, The Lexicon International School, Kalyaninagar, said the first batch of Class X passed out this year. Monisha Sharma, director of The Lexicon Schools, said, “Confidently balancing academics with co-curricular activities and competitions without faltering in any sphere, is what makes us successful.” Jayshree Venkatraman, principal, SNBP International School, Rahatani, said the efforts of teachers and support of parents were commendable.
