Actor Anu Emmanuel, last seen in Vishal’s Tamil crime thriller Thupparivaalan, has been paired opposite Sivakarthikeyan in upcoming yet-untitled project with director Pandiraj. The film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh as one of the leading ladies.

On Monday, the makers announced the primary cast and crew members through a series of special posters. Tipped to be a rural romantic comedy, the film marks the reunion of Sivakarthikeyan and Pandiraj after two successful outings Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.

Sun Pictures is producing the project which also stars Soori and Yogi Babu in key roles. D Imman has been roped in to compose the music.

“The project is all set to go on the floors. Pandiraj is waiting for Siva to complete his pending commitments so that he can shoot this film without any distractions. He will be sporting a very different look. Therefore, there are no plans to shoot both the projects simultaneously. The pre-production work has already commenced. The film will be shot predominantly in and around Chennai,” a source from the film’s unit said.

Currently busy shooting for PS Mithran’s Hero, Sivakarthikeyan is expected to commence shooting for this project from July or August. Kalyani Priyadarshan makes her Tamil debut with Hero.

He is also on the verge of wrapping up his yet-untitled science-fiction film with Ravi Kumar. This project also stars Rakul Preet Singh. Siva also has a film with Viswasam director in his kitty. This project is also expected to go on the floors later this year.
