CHENNAI: Union minister and senior
BJP leader
Pon Radhakrishnan on Tuesday said the
DMK and the
AMMK are acting as a “team” against the ruling
AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.
“Our (BJP-AIADMK) alliance is open. But the DMK and the AMMK have the alliance behind the scene. They are acting as a team,” Radhakrishnan told reporters at Chennai airport on his arrival from Delhi.
He said the DMK was doing what the AMMK was not able to do and vice versa.
Denying the charges that BJP leaders were not campaigning for its ally AIADMK in the bypolls in four assembly constituencies, the minister said the DMK was indulging in false propaganda. But the BJP had extended full support to the AIADMK in the bypolls, he added.
