LUCKNOW: Two Lucknow girls excelled in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class X results nationally by clinching the second position.

Indiranagar School scored 99.6% marks with full score of 100 in three subjects - English, Mathematics and Science.
"I had worked hard and was expecting a good result, but second rank is something which I had never imagined. I used to revise the lessons daily and worked hard on chapters that are difficult to understand."
She said her dream is to clear civil services so that she could contribute to the nation's development.
Sharing the same percentage, Ayushi Pushkar of Delhi Public School, Eldeco also scored full marks in English, Mathematics and Social Science.
"Cooking helped me relax after long hours of studies and stay focused. I am also interested in learning new topics from the
Internet, which is a treasure trove of knowledge," said an elated Ayushi.
"One should study to gain knowledge and to rote-learning will not help in achieving excellence," she added.
