Wendi Murdoch (née Deng) is becoming almost as famous for her pre-Met Gala parties as she is for being Rupert Murdoch's ex-wife.
The 50-year-old hosted her annual pre-Met Gala party on Saturday, two days before the main event at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Wendi shared a series of photos from the lavish party, which was held at the Met, on one of the balconies overlooking Central Park.

The highly exclusive party drew a long list of designer attendees, with Donatella Versace, 64, Jeremy Scott, 43, and Zac Posen, 38, all there.

Other fashionable friends on the guest list included journalist and general man-about-town Derek Blasberg, 37, and former magazine editor Eva Chen, 39.
The guest list also included venture capitalist Andrew Chung, former CAA agent Michael Kives, and Max Hollein, the Director and CEO of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

Wendi's annual party is for Friends of the Costume Institute, a group of patrons who support the museum's costume department.
Speaking to Vogue on Tuesday, Wendi revealed this year's party drew an eclectic guest list.
'We have really great members, from fashion lovers to designers to the tech world; and this year, we got more men. Men love fashion, too!' she said.

This year's Met Gala theme was 'Camp: Notes On Fashion', and Wendi appeared to have been giving it a test-run at her party.
The businesswoman stepped out in a floor-length soft pink dress, patterned with yellow, black, green and white checks.
It also featured what appeared to have been a 3D octopus, with its raised tentacles wrapping around the dress.

The tie-dyed silk chiffon gown featured purple, blue and green ruffles around the legs, which graduated into pink, orange and red ruffles around the bodice.
