Turmeric price decreases

The price of turmeric was decreased on Tuesday. Regarding the price finger turmeric was decreased by ₹550 a quintal at the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association sales yard. Similarly the root variety also decreased by ₹500. But, at the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association sales yard, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,956-7,444. Root variety sold at ₹5,356-6,705. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at ₹5,884-7,329, root variety was sold at ₹5,466-6,849.
