TAFE (Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd.) has signed a pact with Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) to aid efficient utilisation of energy in agriculture. Under the pact, agriculture workshops and melas would be conducted jointly by involving TAFE dealership network in spreading awareness/sensitising farmers on the advantages of better maintenance and upkeep of their tractorsand implements, resulting in lower fuel consumption and efficient utilisation of resources. This would help farmers to maximise their productivity and profitability.
