“Huawei P30 Lite mid-range phone comes with 6.15-inch display, runs on Android 9.0 Pie and packs triple rear camera setup”

Launched back in April alongside the P30 Pro (Review), the Huawei P30 Lite packs a 6.15-inch full-HD+ 2.5D curved glass LCD display and is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC. The handset is available online exclusively through Amazon.in. Now, the brand has announced that it will finally go on sale offline starting May 17th through Croma and Poorvika stores in India. Interested users can pre-book the phone from May 10th at Rs 2,000. As a part of the pre-booking offer, Huawei is offering various data benefits to Jio users and the Boat earphone rocker 255 headphones worth Rs 2,990 for free.

As a part of the offer, Reliance Jio users purchasing the Huawei P30 Lite can avail 2.2TB high-speed data and a cashback of Rs 2,200 (44 vouchers worth Rs 50 each). These cashback vouchers can be redeemed one at a time, against subsequent recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans via the MyJio app only. Additionally, post recharge, 5GB additional data voucher, that is limited to 25 recharges, will be credited in the user’s MyJio account. The Huawei P30 Lite is priced at Rs 19,990 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option and Rs 22,990 for the 6GB + 128GB variant.

Huawei P30 Lite specifications

The Huawei P30 Lite sports a 6.15-inch full-HD+ 2.5D curved glass LCD display with 1,080 x 2,312 pixels resolution and dewdrop notch up top. It is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710 mobile platform coupled with either 4GB RAM + 128GB or 6GB + 128GB storage. The phone boots Android 9.0 with EMUI 9.0 skin on top. In terms of optics, the P30 Lite rocks a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 24-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide angle, and a third 2-megapixel third depth sensor with LED flash.

On the front, there is a 32-megapixel (f/2.0) shooter for selfies and video calling. The camera gets support from Huawei’s AI algorithm, AR stickers, and Google Lens-like feature that can identify objects. The handset also packs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, an ‘image recording’ feature, and GPU Turbo 2.0 for gaming. A 3,340mAh battery with fast-charging support fuels the phone.
