In happy news, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed a baby boy on Monday. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have been married for almost a year announced in October 2018, that they will be welcoming their first born in Spring 2019. The official Instagram account of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the happy news by posting a photo which reads, "It's a BOY". They captioned their post as, "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz."
The statement further read, "The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives." Soon after that, wishes started pouring in for the couple from all over the world. The social media was flooded with congratulatory messages for the royal couple.
One of the sweetest wishes was by Meghan's close friend and actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas. She took to her Instagram story and shared the photo posted by Sussex Royal. She wrote on it, "Congratulations M & H"

Soon after the royal baby was born, Prince Harry, who was with Meghan all the time addressed the media. Sussex Royal wrote, "Their Royal Highnesses thank you for your support and kindness during this exceptionally joyful time in their lives as they welcome their baby boy."
