OnePlus is scheduled to unveil its next flagships − OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14th. Thanks to numerous reports, leaks and renders, we already know quite a lot about the flagships including the pricing details as well. Recently the renders of the Pro variant in Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey colours leaked online, now, a week ahead of the launch, renders showing OnePlus 7 Pro in Almond colour have surfaced, leaving nothing to the imagination. The marketing renders for the first time also show off the elevating camera, which is placed slightly on the left side, in action. The earpiece is housed in a narrow slot at the top of the screen.
The new OnePlus 7 Pro renders further reiterate the curved design and rounded edges at the back. According to the leaks, the smartphone is said to sport a 6.67-inch quad-HD+ AMOLED curved display with 1,440 x 3,120 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR 10+ support. Under the hood, the handset is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC, with up to 12GB RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. It boots Android 9.0 Pie with Oxygen OS skin on top. The handset is expected to rock an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometric security and glass back.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 7 Pro is said to rock a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with both optical and electronic image stabilisation and F/1.6 aperture. Furthermore, a 16MP ultra wide angle lens with a 117-degree wide field of view and F/2.2 aperture, and lastly a third 8MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom. On the front, there is a 16MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats. A 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charge fuels the phone.
