Daniels to address 2019 spring graduates on \'strength in all forms\'

And president mitch daniels is putting the final touches on his annual commencment speech.

The university president has delivered the spring address since the first commencement in 1875.daniels says it's the single biggest homework assignment of his year.plus, he says it saves the university from the worry that an outside speaker will not sit well with the crowd.many people remember last year's speech where daniels warned the class of 2018 to "beware of tribes."

This year, he says it will focus around the topic of "strength."

It's something daniels says is part of the purdue identity.
