ISC results 2019: 3 from Mumbai make it to all-India toppers’ list
Maharashtra improved its performance at the exams and recorded a success rate of 99.27%
mumbai Updated: May 08, 2019 00:00 ISTThree students from the city and suburbs made it to the list of Class 12 national toppers of Indian School Certificate (ISC) exam on Tuesday. While Mihika Samant from St Gregorios High School in Chembur secured the second rank with 99.75% score, two students from Sulochanadevi Singhania School in Thane – Shreya Raj and Nimish Wadekar – secured the third spot with 99.50%.
“The results for ISC have been really good this year. We had 63 students this year, all of whom have scored well. We are happy that even in a subject like English, our school topper has scored a perfect 100, which was unheard of so far,” said Rashmi Ambavane, principal, St Gregorios High school.
Revathy Srinivasan, principal, Sulochanadevi Singhania School in Thane, said it was a good result. “We are happy that two of our students have made it to the national list and many others have scored well,” she said.
The state improved its performance at the exams and recorded a success rate of 99.27%. A total of 2,737 students had appeared for the exams from across 44 schools in the state.
