Why secure your device?
Chances are high that your iPhone or iPad is an absolute treasure trove of personal information that you don't want falling into the hands of others. And while iOS does a great job of keeping their data safe, it's possible to make the device a lot more secure.

Security is always a compromise, but in my mind the small productivity downsides that arise from it are with it to keep you and your data safe.
