MG 'Gathbandhan' comprising seasoned campaigners Naresh Sadarangani, Poras Shah, Darshan Shah and Arun Agrawal combined effectively and lead their team to wins in both the home and away ties (562-454, 579-346) against the Garware Club House team, Garware B, in a Section-G match.

Meanwhile, Manan Shah and Manav Panchal came up with responsible winning performances in both their frames to guide MHC Canon Masters to fluent wins, in home and away matches, against Khar Gymkhanas outfit KG B in Section-H round-robin league in the first week of the tournament.

In Section-E encounters, Chembur Gymkhanas CG Gladiators tamed Catholic Gymkhans CG Rebels 585-538 and 392-192 in the away and home matches, while Bombay Gymkhana team BG Phantoms won both their ties against Park Clubs PCL Beach Boys 676-559 and 625-538.

Shivaji Park Gymkhana side SPG Gentlemen and Central Railway Mechanical Institutes outfit CRMI Star Blue also won their two matches and walked away a bonus point each.

In Section-F matches, SPG Gentlemen defeated JVPG Superlative 673-672 and 630542, while CRMI Star Blue overcame NSCI A 711-622 and 680-641.
