Ilhan Omar called herself a “nightmare” for President Trump as well as his “nemesis”.????In an interview with HuffPost, which highlighted her resilience in the face of criticism…????...death threats and Islamophobia, the Congresswoman explained why she saw herself as a thorn in Trump’s side.????Omar told the publication she thought Trump came to power by vilifying immigrants…????...and also cited his administration’s ban on people traveling from largely Muslim countries…????...said “Clearly, I am a nightmare - because he can’t stop really thinking about ways that he can continue to use my identity to marginalize our communities.”????Omar also told HuffPost she thought the President????“...clearly has a disdain for black women who see themselves as equal to him.

And so for many people it’s not a surprise he finds his biggest nemesis in me.”????The Congresswoman, who escaped Somalia’s civil war before immigrating to the U.S. as a child, added on Trump…????… “As someone who has survived far worse people than him, I’m going to be alright.”
