Nagpur: Jauhrat ul Majd Mohammad ul Baqir Lohawala, a student of MSB Nagpur, has set an example of paying homage to her father by doing what he most wanted her to. She lost her father just a day before her ICSE board exam. She cleared her ICSE board exam with overall 87%.
Jauhrat could not forget that her father had always motivated her, till his last breath, to pursue studies. Talking to TOI, Jauhrat said she had not imagined that she would face such loss but remembering her father’s words, she did not lose focus on studies even while grieving.
Jauhrat said her friends came over to her house and help her in studies during the exam period. They always remained by her side by supporting and encouraging her. Backed by motivating principal and teachers of MSB Nagpur, Jauhrat appeared for the exam that started the very next day of her father’s demise. She also cleared it with overall 87% marks.
Jauhrat has thanked her principal, teachers and management for her success saying her teachers would give her tips and advised her to avoid particular mistakes in the exam. She said teachers of the specific subject would call and help her. Jauhrat further added that the principal of her school had visited her home and encouraged her to appear for the exam saying she should not let her academic year go waste.
She keeps an interest in pursuing child psychology in her higher studies.
