A cyclist has been killed in a hit-and-run incident with a car in Sydney's west.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Harry Avenue and Maud Street, Lidcombe, about 4.45pm on Tuesday, after reports a male cyclist had been hit by a car.
The man died at the scene. He has not been formally identified.
The car, described as a white or grey sedan, failed to stop after the incident, police said in a statement.
