Siemens Gamesa Q2 revenue rises but margins still squeezed MADRID: Wind turbine maker Siemens Gamesa said on Tuesday revenue rose in the second quarter and affirmed its profitability target for the full year, although margins remained squeezed by lower pricing.

Group revenue reached 2.39 billion euros ($2.68 billion) in the January-March period, higher than 2.24 billion euros a year ago and just ahead of a Refinitiv Eikon SmartEstimate of 2.33 billion euros.

The northern Spain-based company's margin on earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) slipped to 7.5 percent from 8.4 percent at the beginning of 2018, and the company reiterated previous guidance that it would be 7-8.5 percent for 2019 as a whole. ($1 = 0.8921 euros)
