The TTD on Monday spiked the donation amount for one-day Annadanam (free meals scheme) to ₹30 lakh.
The decision was taken in the backdrop of steep increase in the price of the raw materials, Earlier the one-day expense for Annadanam was ₹26 lakh.
However, there is no change in the donation amount fixed for breakfast, lunch and dinner which are pegged at ₹7 lakh and ₹11.5 lakh each respectively for each day.
