C1 3 new this morning...fayette county public school employees donated nearly 37- thousand dollars to united way of the bluegrass....throu gh the district's 2018-19 united way giving campaign.

So travis, what will the money support?
L3 travis: white well erica... these funds support local efforts for united way of the bluegrass that impact education, financial stability, and basic needs in lexington and across central kentucky..
L3: white teachers donate $36,000 to united way fayette county the district says when the school year started...employees had the option to assign their gifts for the united promise fund.
This fund goes back into public schools and classrooms through one-time grants of five- hundred to twenty- five hundred dollars that support student success.
United way of the bluegrass also showed appreciation to maxwell spanish immersion elementary, beaumont middle school, and wellington elementary school.
They say maxwell boasted 37% of it's staff pledging gifts through the annual campaign and received a united promise grant for twenty-five hundred dollars.
