He's lost his head! Jared Leto wins for the most absurd look at Met Gala as he carries prosthetic look-alike
Jared Leto took the 'camp' theme to heart at the Met Gala as he accessorized with a replica of his own head upon arrival Monday at the event in New York City.
The 47-year-old Oscar-winning actor held onto his decapitated head while wearing a regal design by Alessandro Michele for Gucci.
Jared donned a long-sleeved red gown covered with ropes of sparkling jewelry but his prosthetic look-alike stole the show.

Two heads: Jared Leto proved that two heads are better than one Monday while arriving at the Met Gala in New York City carrying a replica of his own head
The odd head accessory was a nod to Gucci's fall/winter 2018 fashion show in February 2018 that featured models walking the runway carrying decapitated heads resembling themselves.
Jared had his long dark hair parted down the middle and straight down around his shoulders and sported a trimmed beard for the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.
His replica head creepily had the exact same hairstyle and beard.
Jared held the head up high as he gazed at it while making his way along the pink carpet upon arrival.

He also had the replica head tucked under his arm as he entered the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The moment got truly campy when Jared ran into singer Shawn Mendes, 20, and handed his head over to him.
The Canadian singer then was spotted walking around holding Jared's head.

The Met Gala has become famous for attracting luminaries of Hollywood, of fashion, music, sports, TV and the stage for an evening of fashion and charity to mark the museum's spring exhibit.
This year, the exhibit and gala are dedicated to the idea of 'camp,' as defined by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay Notes on 'Camp.'
The Met Gala, formally known as the Costume Institute Benefit, is always chaired by a team of high-wattage celebrities, and this year is no exception.
The event is chaired by pop star and actress-of-the-moment Lady Gaga, tennis star Serena Williams, and singer Harry Styles, along with Gucci designer Alessandro Michele and, as always, Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
