CHENNAI: More than eight lakh students who appeared for Class XI board exams in Tamil Nadu in March would know their results at 9.30am on Wednesday.
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) would send the results through SMS to all the candidates.
Students and parents can check the results on the following websites:
www.tnresults.nic.in
www.dge1.tn.nic.in
www.dge2.tn.nic.in
The students can download their mark statements through their schools from the website from May 14.
Students can apply for retotalling and revaluation on May 10, 11 and 13. Students, who apply for copy of answer sheets, can alone apply for revaluation.
They have to pay Rs 275 to get the copy of the answer script. For retotalling, they have to pay Rs 305 for language and Rs 205 for each subject.
Teachers said the pass percentage may witness a steep fall this year due to tough question papers. If a student fails to clear the exam, he or she can carry arrears and clear it in the following year along with Class XII exam.
