She says the friend had also seen garcia out front in his car and went to confront him because of past threats.

Garcia had made towards him about allegedly being romantically involved with soto it's then soto says garcia from inside his car pulled out a gun and shot the friend several times.

Police say the victim suffered gunshot wounds to the face and torso soto who says she witnessed the shooting called 911 authorities say garcia took off and went back to his father's house a mile away on east 4th street, the victim was taken to saint luke's hospital in fountain hill and went into immediate surgery police say he is in critical condition meanwhile on east 4th street.

Standoff lasted almost 2 hours before garcia his father and brother were all taken into custody, the father and brother were later released.
