CBSE Class 10 results 2019: All important stats

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday, May 6, 2019, declared the Secondary School Examination (Class X) result 2019.
The Board had conducted the CBSE Class X exams from February 15, 2019, to April 4, 2019. The results were declared on May 6.

This year, the CBSE has conducted the Board exams for a total of 19298 schools at 4974 exam centres.

The overall pass percentage of 2019 is 91.10%. A total of 1774299 candidates has registered for the exam out of which 1761078 appeared. Of the total candidates who appeared for the exam, 1604428 were declared pass.

This year, there is an increase of 4.40% in pass percentage. In 2018, the pass percentage of CBSE Class X was 86.70%.

The pass percentage of national capital was 80.97%, while 98.75% candidates in foreign schools have been declared pass.

This year, girls have done better than Boys by 2.31%.
