JAIPUR: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) aspirants who didn't pay attention to the instructions suffered at examination centre on Sunday. The set of instructions dispatched along with the admission card stated that no long sleeve shirts, tees, tops, kameez, shoes and metal jewellery was allowed. Those who ignored it had to remove it at the exam centres.
Many centres reported chaos, as those who didn’t follow the instructions gave a hard time to the security guards and teachers. Rakesh Nehra, a teacher involved in the duty, said, “It was not pleasant for us also to ask girls to remove their ear rings and other jewellery and in many cases to remove shoes. We were left with no choice given to the kind of cheating techniques devised by some which compel the authorities to take such stringent measures.”

Girls who came wearing long sleeve kurtas had to tear the sleeves into half. At every exam centre, the piles of shoes were seen as those who came wearing shoes had to walk barefoot braving the hot surface.
Those who came to appear in the exam from other districts had to suffer the most. The ones who came alone had to leave their belongings outside at the mercy of others.
