Cautioning against dangers that children are exposed to as the aftermath of any natural disaster, UNICEF has said that “children need to be safeguarded against trafficking when a disaster strikes.’’

“Be cautious of people who you don’t know offering to take care of your child as your child may be at risk of being trafficked,’’ it advised in its social media post on safeguarding children when disaster strikes.
