‘Shehzadi’s votekatwa’ will get befitting reply: Yogi

Gorakhpur: Replying to Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s statement that Congress candidates are selected in a way that at places where they are not in strong position they will certainly cut BJP’s votes, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that people will give befitting reply to ‘Shehzadi’s votekatwa’ like a ‘muhnochwa’.
During electoral campaign in Domariyaganj LS constituency of Siddharthnagar, Yogi said that, “Shehzadi ke vote katwa ka jawab janta muhnochwa ki tarah degi (People will give befitting reply like muhnochwa to Shahzadi’s votekatwa).”
Further mocking the SP-BSP alliance, he said that, “Shivpal Yadav says that he has no sister then from where Bua (aunt) came. Everyone knows that the new relationship has been build to hide one another’s sins and the relationship will be broken on May 23. Earlier even power connections were provided as per castes. People didn’t get power on Holi and Diwali but on Moharram and Eid. But Modi ji believes in sabka saath sabka vikas.”

The CM, while talking to reporters in Gorakhpur’s Ranideeha area on Monday said that the soul of India resides in villages and for the first time Gram Swaraj and Panchayti Raj arrangement was implemented in the country honestly by PM Narendra Modi. He appealed to the the gram pradhans (village heads) to become a foundation stone (neev ka patthar bane).
Addressing Prabuddh Jan sammelan in Gorakhpur on Sunday evening, Yogi accused the Akhilesh government of a big scam in expressway project. He alleged that the tender of Rs 15,000 crore was taken out without even purchasing land.
