YAD appoints 250 office bearers in city

Ludhiana: District youth president Meetpal Singh Dugri announced the organizational structure of Youth Akali Dal (YAD) in Ludhiana on Sunday. The names of new office bearers were declared during a function and in the presence of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) candidate Maheshinder Singh Grewal and district president Ranjit Singh Dhillon.
As per the new structure, Dugri announced one secretary general, an advisor, two legal advisors, 63 senior vice-presidents, 68 vice-presidents, 66 general secretaries, 17 joint secretaries, 15 campaign secretaries and 18 secretaries.
Dugri said the newly appointed office bearers will work for the party and ensure victory of their candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. YAD teams will campaign for the party candidate and also aware people about the unfulfilled promises of the Congress government in Punjab, said Dugri.
Grewal and Dhillon said the support of a large number of youngsters and residents indicates towards the victory of SAD in Ludhiana and the state.
