15-year-old girl goes missing
Krishan Ram of Buddhewal village reported that his 15-year-old daughter Preeti Kumar, who studies in Class VIII, left for school on Saturday, but did not return home. He has alleged that some unidentified person has confined his daughter. Jamalpur police have registered a case against the unidentified accused in this regard.
Complainant Sanjay Dhawan of Adarsh Nagar, Samrala Chowk, told the police that his mother Anu Dhawan (50) had gone to Samrala Chowk market for some work on Saturday when a speeding car hit her near the main chowk. While the car driver escaped from the spot, his mother died on the way to the hospital. Division 7 police have registered a case against Balwant Singh of Guru Vihar Colony, Jodhewal.
