If you’ve been following Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s style, you’d be aware that the actor has a special spot for Manish Malhotra creations. For the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), Rai Bachchan chose a studded white and blue anarkali that’s perfect for the minimalists. When the occasion warranted an all-out ensemble, she’s often picked highly embellished anarkalis, just like the heavily embroidered variant she wore for her Diwali party.
Rai Bachchan also has a flair for white anarkalis. (Remember her ivory high-shine outfit for Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s Mumbai reception?) She wore something similar for Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s mehendi ceremony as well, and picked an ivory anarkali by Rohit Bal, featuring intricate florals, for Saudamini Mattu’s wedding too. But that’s not all. The actor made a case for black anarkalis while attending the Inauguration Of IMC Ladies’ Wing’s Women Entrepreneurs’ exhibition, opting for yet another Rohit Bal option to show you how you can incorporate the hue in your Indian ethnic wardrobe.
