He was arrested this weekend by joplin police and is held in the newton county jail for aggravated dwi.meerwald was already scheduled to go to trial may 9th for a separate drunk driving charge from june of 2018.

He was the drunk driver who killed 7 year old jessica mann and her grandfather..
